  Notice the study said numerous short term relationships. Sure they attract a lot of women, but for a long term relationship with whom you consider a soul mate, bad boys don't cut it. Unless you're a bad girl. lol.

    If short term is all you're interested in, that's fine.

    If you want something that lasts (well, at least as long as a couple of years, or more), the bad boy or girl is someone to steer away from...

  I think that young women, those who have had little in the way of life experience, look at bad boys as excitement that can be added to their lives.

  In high school, I was attracted to the bad boys, but after being married to an abuser, the attraction to any kind of excitement a bad boy could provide was lost.

  I think it all has to do with maturity and the direction one wants to go in life. Too many young women do not look to the future, they just see what is in the here and now. What was fun today may not be fun tomorrow.

  I got a motorcycle and a leather jacket and a tattoo of a snake wrapped around my mom, and I stopped bathing and called my girl awful names from rap songs, and when I opened the door for her I stuck out my foot to trip her -

  and all that happened was

  that bikers beat me up and two lawyers gave me restraining orders and my mom found out about the tattoo and my girl went off with the bikers.

  If that were true, then they'd be attracted to me. I'm the eternal bad guy. But I'm on a fixed income,not rich, and disabled so it's no wonder I have no gal in my life.
