It's not the package the present comes in that makes the present special.
Sexy is a term that basically is used to say that one is attrative to someone else and is usually a combination of more than one quality. I myself put intelligence,humor,confidence and the ability to get along with others ahead of beauty or other physical attributes.

Big women can be beautiful and sexy, fat women cannot. Once you get yourself 2 pairs of love handles and your belly sticks out further than your boobs, you cannot be beautiful and sexy. I don't consider skinny as being beautiful or sexy either. My kind of beautiful woman is more like Catherine Zeta-Jones. She is neither skinny nor fat.

I am a thick "WOMAN" and I believe that i am sexy in my own way. In todays' world if you are over 160 pounds you are considers big or over weight and in a mans eye it may be thickness and they actually like it. I believe its the way you carry yourself. If you are not wearing clothes that are 2 sizes too small for you and your stomach is not hanging over your pants in clear view for every one to see you may be a "sexy big girl". If you present yourself properly than you can be VERY SEXY...Coming from a thick woman, I know

I agree with you but the clothing makers don't seem to be getting the massage. Men have small, medium, large, extra large or the all encompassing double XL. Now a man with an extra 100 lbs can still wear a large or in some cases medium. Put that same extra 100 lbs on a woman and what does it do for the sizes? Also go shopping in women's wear and you can find the same style in sizes up to 12 to 16 depending on the maker but after that if they do have the larger size it's cut and made different. It takes a patient woman to find nice decent prices cloths from 16 up.

Heh...I'm all for curves and healthy bodies and what not, but all this talk about "big is sexy" is more often than not an attempt to help fat people feel ok about themselves. If you're fat you should not feel good about yourself. If you're naturally thick and curvy then I'm fine with it. But if you're thick or overweight because ya never exercise or restrain yourself in the presence of food, then I have no sympathy! Bigger is better if bigger doesn't equal fat, lazy, and gluttonous. That sounded kinda harsh. I don't care.

I'll go a little bit in that direction, but in a non-judgmental fashion... If you have a normal blood pressure, can walk a few miles without a problem, and can find all of you clothes in Wal Mart sizes, then you could most likely fit into the sexy category.
I think healthy is most important.

Sure, BBWs are sexy, too... generally speaking.
Beauty, in terms of physique, is almost universally determined in one part by BMI, and in body ratios, notable waist to hip and chest ratios.
Biological psychology has shown us that women are sexy at a hips-waist-chest ratio roughly identical to the ratio displayed by all Playboy centerfolds - but definitely not according to weight. A woman could be up to around a BMI of about 35 and still be called sexy, if she had this same body ratio. Around the BMI cut off for clinically obese was where large women lose any notion of sexy.
These studies also proved that men don't want the skinniest... they want the most average. That's the best social insurance of nobody stealing their mate.
While the attractiveness of women is indeed universal, different cultures have different values on weight. Western societies have ready and easy access to healthy food, and don't need to binge to store food bodily, like other cultures do.

That said, the degree of "skinniness", or of "fatness" is indeed a certain measure of how an individual is "fitting into" the culture that surrounds them.
Men are definitiely (consciously or subconsciously), and justifiably, using this quality to measure what degree of a "head case" they are indeed choosing.
In terms of quickly measuring the "sexiness" of BBWs against underweight, or low BMI females, I'd have to say there are probably many more porn web sites about BBWs than there are about skinny chicks
All in all, BMI is skewed to give white europeans a slightly higher BMI than other cultures.

A false sense of self-esteem is as unattractive as no self-esteem... which calls into question the use of the term BBW. Why must "B"eautiful be interjected into the term except as a paean to bolster otherwise missing self-esteem?

In my opinion, someone is sexy if someone else sees them as sexy. Therefore, somewhere, someplace someone may find the accompanying photo to be sexy. To me, it is a photo of someone with a misplaced sense of self-esteem.

Surely, every woman can be attractive in her way. It very much a question of self-confidence. But in reality, we seem to live in a size-zero-world. Eating with fun or even passion seems to be the greatest "sin" one could confess. Look at all these thin business women and you will learn, women with curves still have to look for their place (and sometimes fight for it)!

I am sorry but fat is disgusting!! You can smooth it all you want and be in total denial about it and your still a fat ass. real people respect themselves and live a healthy life of not being fat. Your a menace to real society and donut shops everywhere. Get your fat ass out and workout! Lets be honest here, what does north America know about sexy female bodies? Our women are programed to eat to cheer themselves up or exercise to that hard body that gets ride of every sign of femininity so that the need to go get chest and butt implants and then look like a total fool. Note to women most men don't find hard muscles or bread dough sexy, implants look and feel as fake as the are. Be yourselves and we will love you and desire you for yourself. Within a month of marrying my wife of twenty years I met her seventy year old great aunt Grace, an rather direct English lady whom I had never met before. Her pearls of wisdom for the young man who married her niece were simple but very true. Even though I had just married a young beauty after some years and a few kids her breasts would drop and hang down and she would have roles where no woman should, she would look tired and have grey hair and wrinkly skin I should never stop loving her. cont

Her reason for this was all that was the price my wife would pay to give us a family to love. Now the look on my face was priceless, the look on my wife's face was terror. But in all honesty my wife is more beautify to me now then when we got married, I some times wonder it that was what Aunt Grace was trying to tell us. I still have a hard time keeping my hands off her but have stopped trying to be the human bra when she is in the kitchen, for the record guys, women really hate it when we do that.
