Does anyone else see the potential for problems here? There should be a warning here about when it's ok to laugh and when it's not ok to laugh. Laugh at the wrong time and it could cost you more than a sleepless night.

Good point, the thing is many couples don't communicate their individual likes and dislikes to each other enough so what might work for you may not work for them. If you are both open with each other then the should be no problem.

I was sitting around talking with a bunch from work in a social setting, Aka we were drinking some, and sex came up so we decided to pick each others brains. Much to my surprise some women said they felt doggie style sex was disrespectful, some men said they had run across that from other women over the years as well. Are there any women here willing to comment on this? Not being judgmental here just asking for opinions and ideas.

Personally, I don't think any sexual position is disrespectful, if both parties are consensual to the sex to begin with. If it feels good do it. If not, find a different way.
Women need to talk to their lovers more. Perhaps they should find out why their lovers like it doggie-style. Perhaps the women who feel it is disrespectful are afraid their lover doesn't want to see their face and fantasizes about others while having sex with them. If that's the case, they should be talking about it. I bet they'd find out that they are mistaken in their lover's motivation.
Talking about sex with your lover should bring you closer. If you can't talk about it, you probably shouldn't be doing it.
